The book that taught me the delights of a fictional world is The Neverending Story. It literally showed me how to be in there and made me want to stay longer. I would have rather lived there. Even as a child I knew it was impossible, but after I've grown up, translating makes it come true. For me, translation is like living in a fictional world. With my own green and red inks, I'd love to share the worlds with readers. My other "please never end" stories are Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Not Fade Away, The Martian Chronicle, God Bless You Mr. Rosewater, Portraits and Observations (by Capote), etc.
